Phil’s heart is for expanding the body of Christ through missions, discipleship and mentorship. Inspired by a revelation of God’s love, he pioneered Lightbearers Ministries International to better serve the entire body of Christ, and after one year planted a local church in Walla Walla, Washington called Lightbearers Sanctuary.

His focus is on teaching people how to walk in wholeness and healing and equipping them with God’s word so that they can be a light in every sphere of influence. With roots in YWAM and over 26 years of full-time ministry experience around the world, Phil is a growing motivational speaker and a certified life coach in positive psychology. 

Phil is known for inspiring and coaching people to think positively and to enjoy God’s rest as he continues to be a vessel of honor ushering in God's Kingdom and sharing the Father’s love wherever he goes.

Melody is a missionary at heart. She spent her early childhood on the mission field in West Africa. With roots in YWAM, Melody serves on the pastoral team as one of the teaching pastors. God has also called her to the sphere of education as a teacher in a Christian school. Like her husband, she is passionate about teaching God's word and sharing the hope of Jesus wherever she goes. 

Nelda Ocanaz has a great compassion and love for people. Her calling is helping people receive salvation, healing, and deliverance. Using Psalm 91:1, she has mentored many to experience the presence of God and to hear His voice. Nelda received training in Healing Rooms Ministry and in Sozo Ministry, and has served as a licensed minister and Prayer Director in several other ministries. She is presently serving as the Family Ministries Pastor and Vice President of Lightbearers Sanctuary.

Alorah has spent the past 20 years leading worship in churches and ministries around the world. Her journey has included serving with YWAM and attending a School of Worship, where her love for worship and encountering God continued to grow. Today, she also teaches at a Christian school, sharing the love of Jesus with her students and worshipping with them in the classroom. Whether leading worship or teaching, Alorah’s heart is to help people of every age encounter Jesus and grow in their relationship with Him.

Serena has loved God since she was a little girl and while she was in college, she decided she was ready to commit herself wholly to serving Him. She is talented in sharing the love of Christ with children of all ages because she is passionate about making sure people feel seen, heard, and understood; she does this very well as a teacher in a Christian elementary school! With several fur babies and a growing family, Serena brings a special excitement to our children’s ministry.
